The Vampire Diaries - Spoiler From TV Line - 19th December 2013

Any Vampire Diaries scoop? Especially something about Caroline?

If you’re by chance nosing around for a lead on a possible new romance for the unlucky in love lass, EP Caroline Dries is right there with ya. “That’s kind of a joke in the 100th episode. When it comes out about Stefan and Katherine sleeping together, Caroline’s like, ‘What?! Why the heck am I the only one not getting any?’” Dries previews. “Hopefully, we’ll find her somebody new.”

The Vampire Diaries - What Do We Know About The 100th Episode So Far?

A Walk Down ‘Katerina Petrova’ Lane: According to what Ian Somerhalder told Alloy Entertainment, “It’s a pretty dynamic episode. There’s a lot going on.” He explained, “I think we learn a lot about Katherine, and I think Elena, Damon, and Stefan all have different views on how they want to deal with her. Damon wants her dead — there’s so much pain and resentment there.” Yikes! Considering how this episode revolves around Katherine — along with  all her sins and transgressions — should we expect a flashback or two? Let’s hope so. Because if there’s one thing we know, it’s that no one wears silk petticoats better than Lady Pierce!

On Elena Becoming An Augustine Vampire: Don’t worry, everyone. Miss Gilbert is safe…for now. Caroline Dries explained to TVLine that “it was hard to visually tell that story” but “when viewers saw the needle on the ground, it was still full so she’s safe.”

Get Ready for A Beautiful Reunion: “I absolutely think that if you are invested in this show on any level and you love the characters — past and present — you should potentially bring a Kleenex,” Paul Wesley warned Alloy Entertainment. “I would say the biggest thing would be that there is a beautiful reunion. We’ll leave it at that.” But we won’t Paul! Michael Trevino revealed to ETOnline that “a lot of maybe faces from the past” will be popping up and that the “brilliant writers found a way to kind of include all of them in one episode, believe it or not, to fit them all in and still make the story make sense.” Meanwhile, according to Steven R. McQueen, “There’s one scene in particular that was a lot of fun to film because very rarely do we all work on the same day, and on this day, they literally blocked out a full day just to film one scene.”

On Delena’s Breakup: “The fun of the 100th episode is we pick up the day after this happened. We see how they’re both handling it. It’s a fun introduction to the show,” Caroline Dries told TVLine. She added, “Going forward, the 100th episode will revisit this fight that they had, this break-up, and he’s going to get some good brotherly advice that will push him in the right direction.”

Beremy Experiences Tension in Their Relationship: Bonnie and Jeremy may have spent the past few weeks getting hot and heavy – oops! registering for classes – but just like any madly in love couple on TVD, they’re going to experience a hiccup or two. “Bonnie's going to be tested as the anchor. And they seem to be pretty happy in their relationship that they have going on but in future episodes that will be tested by a third party,” Caroline Dries told Zap2It. “The reason they broke up — if you remember back in the day — was because of Anna, when Jeremy cheated on Bonnie with Anna, and they’ve never really dealt with that. They just broke up and they both died at some point and now they’re back together again. So those residual feelings of insecurity will persist in their relationship.”

Potential Romance for Matt Donovan? Caroline Dries spilled some interesting clues about the blue-eyed hunk’s upcoming arc during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter: “That’s always a possibility with Matt, but now it’s more about him building a relationship with Nadia. We saw it in the premiere and we’re going to tee it up again in this episode and the next episode. They have a very complicated relationship where he just has a big heart and he’s human so and finds him lovable in a way. But at the end of the day, she has a very clear agenda and if she has to hurt him or betray him in any way, she’s going to do it.”

The Mysterious Mister Enzo Returns: Thankfully, the charming, dark-haired cutie will not be not getting the pointy end of the stick any time soon. (That accent…swoon!) According to what Caroline Dries told The Hollywood Reporter, “he’s going to be kind of the Devil on Damon’s shoulder a little bit, frenemies.”

Caroline Makes A Huge Decision: Is it to hit up New Orleans and allow Klaus to show her world? Hmm. It never hurts to dream but we actually have no idea. Caroline Dries, however, did drop some interesting clues during her recent interview with the Zap2It: “Moving forward in the 100th episode, her story line opens up when she makes a decision to do something and it kind of generates story for her for the next two episodes, this choice that she’s made. That’s really all I can say because it’s a fun surprise.”

Why Hello There, Grimm Reaper: “Death is knocking at the window in the 100th episode, but I’m not going to say if death is successful or with whom,” the always-cryptic Caroline Dries told ETOnline. Uh-oh! Judging by the fact that The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 11 is titled “500 Years of Solitude,” let’s all just say a little prayer for Katherine Pierce. Who knows if she’ll take up Nadia on her offer to use their Traveler bloodline to leap into some poor soul’s body – the sky’s the limit!

The Vampire Diaries 100th Episode in A Nutshell: It’s a bit hard to explain, considering that so much supernatural drama occurs, but allow Julie Plec to take a stab at it. “Caroline Dries and I wrote it together, and we really wanted to live up to the things that we think our show does when it’s working at its best, which is lots of good twists and turns, a super whammy of a reveal, some really great, sexy romances, some good tears and some good scares, and some creep factor, and we got it all,” Julie raved, treating Alloy Entertainment to some interesting teasers. She coyly added, “That and some of our favorite friendly faces maybe that we’re paying a little extra visit to in nostalgia land — maybe a flashback or something…I don’t know.”

The Vampire Diaries - Spoiler From TV Guide - 17th December 2013

Are Elena and Damon really over on The Vampire Diaries? And does that mean we're back to the triangle?

They're not down for the count just yet! "I wouldn't say it's a reset of the triangle," executive producer Caroline Dries tells us. "What the show does well is that it doesn't just make rash decisions with people that causes them to just stop loving the people they love. Damon and Elena have a deep-rooted love for each other and you can't just turn your back on that. Elena will always feel that for Damon even if they fight or break up. But we will see in future episodes that there is a huge strain in their relationship, bigger than them in a way."

The Vampire Diaries - Spoiler From TV Line - 17th December 2013

What’s ahead for Bonnie as an anchor on The Vampire Diaries?

Big trouble, warns executive producer Caroline Dries. “Part of her personality now is that she carries this cross,” says the EP. And while she seems to be managing every dead supernatural being passing through her now, those unexpected “visitors” may “become an issue for her,” teases Dries. The ex-witch’s relationship with Jeremy will face some challenges, too. “No relationship on this show is safe for too long. They’re going to hit some speedbumps.”

The Originals - Spoiler From TV Line - 17th December 2013

Originals scoop, please?

Wondering what’s happening with Tyler in Marcel’s “prison”? Answers — and a possible way out for the hybrid — are coming. “We’re definitely going to see what’s going on in the garden,” previews exec producer Michael Narducci. “Tyler is not the only one who’s buried in there. … When we come back in the New Year, you’re going to see Rebekah have some perspective on what that location is, and how she might be able to use that to her advantage.” As for the future of the locked-up Mystic Falls resident, Narducci hints that “my friends at the Vampire Diaries office would really very much love to see Michael Trevino make a return. It stands to reason, logically, that somehow we’re going to address the issue of how does Tyler get out of that garden.”
